New Delhi:

Bengaluru’s famous Bellandur lake once again started spilling foam onto the adjacent roads on Thursday. The spilling has been observed after a week of heavy rainfall in the city. It has made life difficult for the commuters.

Following the spillage, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the problem will be sorted out within 1-2 years.

The record-breaking rainfall in the city on Tuesday has made the spillage from Bellandur lake even worse. The rainfall on Tuesday was the highest for the month of August in over a decade.

The froth caused chaos on roads as it enveloped the vehicles plying on the nearby road. Residents in the vicinity also complained about the foul smell and pollution. Some residents even said that the spillage has entered their houses.

“It is there, it will be solved within 1 or 2 years. The government is taking all necessary actions,” said Siddaramaiah on the Bellandur lake spillage.

It is not the first time that the people of Bengaluru had to face such kind of problem. The spillage has happened many times in the past. The commuters faced similar problems in the past as well as the spillage completely blinds them on the road.
