The metro services in Bengaluru resumed on Friday with immediate effect after negotiations between metro workers and police department.

The services were stopped temporarily on Friday and thousands of office-bound commuters left stranded in the morning.

Bengaluru metro workers were thrashed by police officer on Thursday.

As per reports, there was a fight between BMRCL staff and Karnataka State Industrial Security Force personnel which led to arrest of a staff. They had decided not to go to work until the staff is released from police custody.
