After protest by metro workers against the arrest of a colleague, Bengaluru metro services stopped temporarily on Friday. Thousands of office-bound commuters left stranded on Friday morning.
Bengaluru metro workers were thrashed by police officer on Thursday.
As per reports, there was a fight between BMRCL staff and Karnataka State Industrial Security Force personnel which led to arrest of a staff. Now, metro staff are demanding release of their colleague.
BMRCL staff has decided not to go to work untill the staff is released from police custody.
