At least five people were injured in a blast that took place at a house in Bihar's Patna on Monday. According to a report of news agency ANI, the blast was so strong that it damaged two houses in the area. Immediately after the unfortunate incident, all the injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital. However, the cause of the explosion is yet to be known.
In a tweet, ANI said, "Five people injured in an explosion at a house in Patna. Police say, "It seems a bomb that had been kept at this house exploded, damaging two houses. Injured people have been shifted to a hospital."

As per the initial reports, the blast occurred at a house in the street number one of the Salimpur Ahara of Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The authorities, including a team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), have reached the have started the investigation.

This comes days after 3 boys were killed and nine others injured in a firecracker explosion during a religious procession in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district. Previously, the high-intensity explosion took place near a mall in Bhayander township of Maharashtra’s Thane district. A watchman of the locality sustained minor injuries in the incident.
