Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and members of his cabinet declared their assets on the last day of the year on Monday. The details of their movable and immovable assets, filed by Kumar, shows that he became poorer than the last year. According to the details, Kumar had Rs 46,566 cash in 2017, whereas in 2018, it has been reduced to Rs 40,039.
While Kumar’s total movable assets were Rs 16.23 lakh last year, the figure has dropped to Rs 16.18 lakh in the last 12 months. Besides, the Bihar chief minister has 20 gram of gold worth Rs 51,600 in the market. He also has a flat in Delhi’s Dwarka. Â
Kumar has eight cows and six calves, whereas last year there were nine cows and seven bulls. He also has a Ford car. The chief minister's son Nishant has Rs 88 lakh in his bank account, which is the amount received after his mother's retirement. There is an agricultural land worth Rs 89 lakh. Nishant has a land in Bakhtiyarpur worth Rs 32 lakh. He also has a Hyundai car.
Kumar’s deputy Sushil Kumar Modi, on the other hand, has become richer. Modi now has cash of Rs 46,600, while his wife has Rs 38,500 cash. In 2017, Modi had cash of Rs 42,600 and his wife had Rs 35,500 cash.
Modi now has movable and immovable properties worth Rs 1.40 crore, while his wife has a movable property worth Rs 1.51 crore. Modi has a loan of Rs 17.54 lakh.
