Infamous for his controversial remarks, BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya is once again in the news. This time, the BJP leader irked social media with his controversial “Saturday Motivation” tweet against women of the foreign origin. In a veiled reference to Sonia Gandhi and his son Rahul Gandhi, Vijayvargiya said, “The children who are born to a woman of a foreign origin can’t be the disciple of patriotism.”

The tweet from the BJP leader got viral in no time with people bashing him for the inappropriate remark against women. Replying to Vijayvargiya’s tweet, a Twitter user said that whenever he (Kailash Vijayvargiya) opens his mouth, something dirty comes out.

Another user advised the BJP leader to think before writing and said, “This is not correct. A woman is a woman. Whether he is Indian or a foreigner. At least give it a thought before you write.” Following the bashing, Vijayavargiya deleted the tweet but before that, it was liked and shared hundreds of times. Reacting to Vijayvargiya’s tweet, Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi said that he needed mental treatment as he has been deeply injured due to the defeat in Madhya Pradesh.

“He needs mental treatment, the injury of defeat in Madhya Pradesh elections is deep. God bless wisdom to people contaminated with such mentality,” the Congress leader replied to Vijayvargiya’s tweet.

The controversial remark from the BJP leader came days after his party dealt with a body blow at the hands of Congress in Madhya Pradesh. Vijayvargiya was given the election responsibility of Malwa-Nimar region in Madhya Pradesh, where the BJP performed poorly in the recent Assembly polls.

This was not the first time the BJP leader stirred a controversy with his remark. Earlier, the BJP leader had termed Vyapam a “chhutput” (small) scam and asked whether Akshay Singh, a journalist who was killed mysteriously while investigating the scam, was more important than himself.
