BJP leader from Madhya Pradesh asks villagers to chant Hanuman Chalisa to protect crops from thunderstorm (

A BJP leader from Madhya Pradesh on Monday has appealed to the farmers to chant Hanuman Chalisa everyday to protect their crops from natural calamity.

In his appeal to the farmers, the former BJP lawmaker Ramesh Saxena from Madhya Pradesh’s Sehore said, “Scientists have stated that weather will be bad for the next one week. They have predicted that there will be hailstorms and heavy rainfall.”

Saxena said, “I appeal to the farmers to chant Hanuman Chalisa for an hour for the next five hours.”

The lawmaker asserted that by chanting Hanuman Chalisa continuously for the next five days the calamity will be prevented.

“I appeal to the villagers that please chant Hanuman Chalisa everyday for one hour for five days,” added Saxena.
