Jamnagar :
It was an embarrassing moment for BJP MP from Jamnagar Poonamben Hematbhai Maadam, when she fell into a drain during a demolition drive. The BJP MP had gone to supervise a demolition drive in Jalaram Nagar area of her constituency when the mishap took place.
Poonam along with a few other people was standing on the top of the drain cover which caved in resulting in the accident. She and some others fell in to the 10 feet deep drain. She has suffered leg injuries and has been admitted in a hospital.
Two other women who fell with her have also been injured and are undergoing treatment.
