Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reinstalled his prime motive of development in the minds of saffron party leaders at BJP national executive meet and the party that attempts were being made to push the government off course, Union minister Rajnath Singh has said.
"Forces are trying to digress us from our course, all our members will have to stay unaffected by them. We must stick to our agenda despite repeated attempts to disrupt our attempts to do developmental work, the PM said," Rajnath Singh told media.
"The opposition will drag us into negative politics but we need to focus on our agenda let's not get trapped by negative style of politics of opposition," the Prime Minister reportedly said.
"Vikas, vikas, vikas is my only focus and it is our country's sole solution to all problems," Mr Singh quoted the Prime Minister as saying.
Keeping his eyes on development of rural areas Prime Ministre has asked his party members to bring some creativity in the way they function and also put special focus on remote areas.

"We have successfully reached our target to provide electricity to villages that have been deprived of it for 65 years... No allegations of corruption in last 22 months since the time our government took over... all workers have to equally feel for the campaign... (for) schemes like 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao'," he said.
Recently government has been under fire for several issues like freedom of speech debate and political controversy over the slogan Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
The two-day national executive had focused on, among other things, the upcoming elections in four states which are crucial for the BJP.
