The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday nominated its general secretary Arun Singh as its Rajya Sabha candidate from Uttar Pradesh. Along with Arun Singh, the party has also nominated Congress rebel K C Ramamurthy as its candidate from Karnataka. Earlier in October this year, K C Ramamurthy left Congress alleging the top brass of ignoring its supporters and not addressing their problems.
Later, he joined the saffron party in presence of Bhupender Yadav and Arun Singh and a senior minister Pralhad Joshi. By-election to the two Rajya Sabha seats will be held on December 12.
