Black flags shown to Rahul Gandhi at JNU

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi Was On Saturday Shown Black Flags As He Reached The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Amid A Row Over An Event Held On The Campus Against The Hanging Of Parliament Attack Convict Afzal Guru.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was on Saturday shown black flags by ABVP members as he reached the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) amid a row over an event held on the campus against the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

According to reports, slogans of “Rahul Gandhi Go Back” were also raised by by ABVP members at the campus. The Congress Vice President was there to join a protest against the arrest of JNU students union president Kanhaiya Kumar. 

He was arrested on Friday in connection with a case of sedition and criminal conspiracy over holding of the event against hanging of Afzal Guru.

Anand Sharma, Sitaram Yechury and Ajay Maken are also present at JNU.
