A Class 10 student in Madhya Pradesh revealed that he was trapped in the Blue Whale challenge by writing about the game in his Sanskrit exam's answer sheet. As a result, the authorities were able to rescue him.

Blue Whale challenge: Class 10 boy rescued in Madhya Pradesh

A Class 10 student was rescued in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district after it was revealed that he was trapped in the Blue Whale Challenge.The boy wrote on his answer sheet during his Sanskrit examination that he had reached the last level of the game. In the process, he had completed 49 stages of the challenge.

He is a student of Utkarsh school in Khilchipur, wrote that he was being threatened that his parents would be killed if he didn’t commit suicide.

Luckily, the Sanskrit teacher, Hemlata Sringi, got hold of his answer sheet and informed the school authorities and his parents about the incident.

The Blue Whale Challenge, reportedly created by a former convict in Russia, is said to provoke players to indulge in daring, self-destructive tasks.

The players also need to film these tasks and share them as ‘proof’ for 50 days before finally killing themselves.Sub-divisional magistrate Praveen Prajapati said the boy is still in a state of shock but was counselled along with his parents. He further said that the boy has promised to not play the game ever again.
