The gruesome Uri terror attack on an army base which left 18 soldiers of the Indian army killed and many more injured has unleashed a strong anti-national sentiment against Pakistan. The country is brimming with anger and anguish over the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. The strong Indian protest against Pakistan has forayed into the world of cinema and art and leading Pakistani stars working in Bollywood haven’t been spared.
The ongoing debate of sending Pakistani born actors back to their native country has been doing the rounds in the media. Bollywood heartthrob Fawad Alam who’s much awaited ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ scheduled release on October 28 has flown back to Pakistan amid protests that he no longer should be allowed to work in the Indian film industry.
However there have been many actors in the Indian film industry who reached the zenith of their careers by mastering their craft in either acting or singing. One thing common to all of them was that they were born in Pakistan.

4. Noor Jehan -
Allah Rakhi Wasai better known Noor Jehan as was one of the greatest singers to grace the film industry. Noor Jehan had a melodious voice and hailed as the queen of melody. She was rightfully given the title Malika-e-Tarannum. Her popular numbers are still very much alive in the hearts of music lovers.
