After the recent controversy related to petrol pump allocation, the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited on Saturday terminated petrol pump license allotted to Bihar Minister Tej Pratap Yadav. BPCL refused to comment further on the issue.
Tej Pratap Yadav is son of Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Earlier, BPCL had issued notice to Tej Pratap Yadav and asked him to reply within 15 days. Company had asked how Taj Pratap had obtained license.
BJP leader Sushil Modi had earlier said that Taj Pratap had collaborated with an official of the oil company and made fake documents to obtain petrol pump license in 2011.
