10 dead, one injured after wall collapses in Telangana's Narayanpet

At least 10 people died and one injured after a wall collapsed in Marikal aread of Telangana's Narayanpet on Wednesday. "We are shifting the bodies to a local government hospital for post-mortem. The injured has been also shifted to the hospital for treatment, said the superintendent of police of Narayanpet.

All the deceased were reportedly daily wage labourers. Reports suggest that the incident took place when the workers were digging the earth. Suddenly, the clay wall collapsed on them. Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed condolences to the victims' families. He directed the district administration to help the victims' families. 

Last month, an eleven-month-old girl died in a wall collapse incident at Banjara Hills. According to the police, the incident happened at Hakeempet under Banjara Hills police station area. The baby identified as Mahin Qureshi, daughter of Khasim Qureshi was asleep in the house when the wall collapsed on her.
