Gunfight breaks out near police post in Srinagar's Chanpora, cop injured

A policeman sustained injuries after a gunfight broke out between the police near police post in Srinagar's Chanpora on Friday evening. The injured policeman has been shifted to a hospital. The police have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation in the area.

"There was a stand off firing on Police Post Chanapora falling under the jurisdiction of Police station Saddar. One policeman sustained injuries," a police spokesman said.
