A tourist from Mohali died, while his instructor sustained injuries after their paraglider crashed in Himachal Pradesh’s Solang Valley near Manali on Saturday, the police said. Amandeep Singh Sovti, 24, was killed when the instructor, Ranveer Singh, lost control of the paraglider, which came crashing down. Ranveer, 32, was seriously wounded in the incident, according to The Tribune.
Sovti had visited Kullu district with a friend. Kullu Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri told the newspaper that the police had registered a case, and that tourist’s body would be handed over to his family after postmortem.
