New Delhi:
Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Danger Pora area of Sopore in Baramulla on Thursday. According to local reports, additional reinforcements of Army and Special Operation Group of police were rushed to the Danger pora village as the encounter between the forces and the terrorists escalated.
Earlier, Army’s 22 RR and SOG have launched a cordon-and-search operation at Bunpora area of Danger Pora village following specific information about the presence of the terrorists inside a residential house.
The authorities have suspended internet services in Sopore town as a precautionary measure in wake of this search operation.
