Brought AAP this far in Punjab, my own party conspiring against me: Sucha Singh Chhotepur

Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur on Friday blamed his party for conspiring against him and said he has put my blood and sweat into the party in the state.

Excerpts from Chhotepur's press conference- 

# I have brought AAP Punjab this far, why will I quit the party?

# My own friends have conspired against me.

# AAP is conspiring against me and my political opponents are defending me.

# If I have done anything wrong, they should order a CBI inquiry against me. I am an honest man.

# I worked for AAP so hard, and brought it so far ahead, put my blood & sweat into it.

Chhotepur has been accused of taking bribe for distributing party tickets for the upcoming assembly elections next year.

Later, AAP leaders from Punjab wrote a letter to party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asking him to sack as party converener Chhotepur.
