Delhi High court on Tuesday issued a notice to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on a PIL filed on BSF jawan’s allegation.
The court sought MHA response on the alleged bad quality food being served to paramilitary jawans.
A PIL was submitted in Delhi High court on the procurement of rations, food preparations and servings to various categories of officers.
The plea was filed by Puran Chand Arya, a former central government employee after a BSF jawan posted a video on social media sites claiming corruptions among officers and poor working condition.
The PIL also cited fundamental Right of Equality (Article 14) and Life (Article 21) and raised the issue of allegations about insufficient and bad quality food being served to paramilitary jawans.
