BSF troopers gun down Pakistani woman trespassing into India

Border Security Forces (BSF) troopers gunned down a Pakistani woman along the International Border in the Dera Baba Nanak sector after she trespassed into Indian territory at Punjab’s Gurdaspur on Thursday.

The patrolling team of the BSF detected suspicious movement along the barbed wire fence at the border outpost in Ghania Ke last night, the official said.

He added that the killed woman is yet to be identified.

The official added that BSF troopers opened fire at her after she ignored the repeated warnings to surrender and kept moving towards the fence.

BSF officials contacted the Pakistani Rangers to hand over the killed woman’s dead body.

The Pakistani Ranger denied to accept the killed woman’s body.

The BSF officials later handed over the woman’s body to Dera Baba Nanak police station for last rites.
