The Bulandshahr police registered an FIR on Wednesday against six Hindu Yuva Vahini members in connection with murder of a man over his role in elopement of a Hindu girl.
SP Bulandshahr Mann Singh Chauhan said they are conducting a probe in the matter after registering an FIR.
On April 13, a few members of the Hindu outfit had allegedly assaulted a man, who was on his way to drop off his fiancee at her house , and misbehaved with the woman.

The incident took place hours after some members of the youth brigade, founded by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, barged into the house of an inter-faith couple in the city and roughed them up.

Medical police station in-charge Dharmendra Kumar had said the couple were on their way to the woman's home on a scooter when they were intercepted by six men, claiming to be cadres of Hindu Yuva Vahini.
