The newly-elected Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday addressed a press conference and talked about the future & development plans of the Indian Railways.
Goyal said that the railways will be transformed and revolutionised soon. "Day after tomorrow Railways will be transformed & revolutionised," he said.
The minister also talked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision. "PM has given directions for a holistic development of the Indian Railways," he said.
Talking about the future of trains (Bullet train), he said that it will boost country's employment. "The coming of bullet trains to India will not only boost employment but in future India will be able to export it too," he said.
He also mentioned about Japan's technology to prevent any mishap in railways. "It has been a zero accident train in Japan and I am sure the track record will remain the same in India," Goyal said.
