A bus fell into an overflowing river in Karnataka's Gadag on Monday. The bus was full of passengers. Local people were first to reach the spot and start rescue operations.

A bus fell into an overflowing river in Karnataka's Gadag on Monday. The bus was full of passengers. Local people were first to reach the spot and start rescue operations. 

The visuals from the spot show local villagers rescued passengers and driver with the help of a rope. 

Heavy rains lashed the Gadag area of the state on Sunday night, which caused the river to swell. The bus which was going from Laxeshvara to Kuduru  fell in the river. 

According to sources, all passengers have now been rescued.
