Four junior ministers Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Nirmala Sitharaman and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi were promoted in PM Modi’s third cabinet reshuffle on Sunday.
Dharmendra Pradhan, who was a minister of state for Petroleum and Natural Gas took oath as a cabinet minister.
Piyush Goyal who was handling independent charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy and Mines in the government also got the promotion and took oath as a cabinet minister.
Apart from Pradhan and Goyal, MoS for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Nirmala Sitharaman who was handling Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Finance, and Corporate Affairs as minister of state has also got cabinet birth in third rejig of Modi government.

Apart from four cabinet ministers, Shiv Pratap Shukla, Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Virendra Kumar, Anant Kumar Hegde, Raj Kumar Singh, Hardeep Puri, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Satya Pal Singh took oath as minister of states.Â
