A day after a shocking crime in Tamil Nadu, where goons attacked a couple killing one, two men riding a scooter killed a national-level kabbadi player in Rohtak in broad daylight.
The incident was captured in CCTV footage recorded by security cameras at a house near the killing. A case has been registered against unknown persons.
As seen in the footage, the athlete Sukhvinder Narwhal was killed on a lonely road near his house while he was walking home from practice. It seems, Narhwal was talking on his phone when the gunmen approached him.
After taking a bullet, the Kabaddi player fell to the ground but the attackers made sure he died before leaving. They then get off the scooter and shot him twice- both over and over in the head. The shots were fired at him in his chest and forehead following which he fell on the ground.
Haryana Police has paced up the investigation but the murderers have yet to be identified. According to the parents of the deceased, Sukhvinder did not have personal enmity with anyone. Three months back, another kabaddi player named Deepak Kumar was killed after men on a motorcycle shot at him in a deserted part of Rohtak.
