Caught on camera: Rajasthan MLA son drinking before his car crushed 3

A CCTV footage has been released that shows Rajasthan MLA's son drinking at a bar. The video comes with a time stamp of 12.30 am on July 2.

Two hours later Siddharth Maharia's car, BMW, ran over three men and injured five others.

Siddharth Maharia was produced before a local court where the magistrate extended his police remand for one day.

As per reports, Siddharth was driving car at a very high speed at around 1.30am in C-scheme area in allegedly inebriated condition.

He has been booked under IPC section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).

The 20-year-old has claimed that his driver was behind the wheels.

According to the police, Siddharth's breathalyzer test showed he had alcohol five times over permissible levels for driving.
