CBI arrests Rourkela Steel Plant Executive Director BP Burma for receiving bribe

CBI arrested Rourkela Steel Plant Executive Director BP Burma for receiving Rs 1 lakh bribe to pass a tender.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) also seized 20 lakhs (in Rs 2000 notes) after raids at Rourkela Steel Plant Executive Director BP Burma's premises.    

According to reports, CBI on Sunday raided the official residence and office of BP Burma, Executive Director (Works) of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP). The CBI official got tipped off when they suspected a case of possession of disproportion asset (DA) case by RSP Executive Director.

 Burma was transferred to Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand just two months ago.
