CBSE Class 10 paper leak case solved: DCP Delhi Crime Branch, Ram Gopal Naik

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Thursday has claimed to solve the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 mathematics paper leak case. The question papers of class 12 Economics and class 10 Mathematics exams, scheduled on March 26 and March 28 respectively, were leaked on Whatsapp.

"Class X paper leak case has been solved," DCP Crime Branch, Ram Gopal Naik, was quoted by ANI in a tweet.

Earlier on April 7,  police had arrested three people, including a teacher, clerk and support staff, from Himachal Pradesh in connection with the leak of Class XII Economics paper. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education had ordered the re-test of Class 12th economics and class 10th mathematics paper on March 28, 2018, due to the alleged paper leaks.

The first case of CBSE paper leak was lodged on March 27 and the other pertaining to the mathematics paper was lodged on March 28, following a complaint by the regional director of the CBSE.
