Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala on Wednesday informed that his son Vikas Barala, who is an accused of stalking, left for Chandigarh to join the investigation as asked by Chandigarh police.
The Haryana BJP president said Vikas will fully cooperate in the investigation. He said they respect the law and Vikas had cooperated in the investigation earlier too. The blood and urine samples of Vikas Barala corroborated the presence of alcohol at the time he was stalking the 29-year-old woman on a fateful day.
Earlier in the day, the Chandigarh police had summoned Haryana BJP President Subhash Barala’s son Vikas Barala to join the investigation

Luthra said that additional evidence is welcome but they now have sufficient CCTV footage.

The DGP said,”Vikas Barala refused to accept the notice, therefore, we have pasted the notice on the wall of his residence.”
Krishan Kumar, Subhash Barala's personal assistant said that they have received police notice for Vikas, but he did not have details.
