The Chandigarh police on Wednesday arrested Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala’s son Vikas Barala (23) and his friend Ashish (27) in connection with stalking case.
The police arrested him under non-bailable sections while inflicting section of attempt of abduction. Vikas appeared before police at secor-26 police station. The police had already made heavy security arrangements at the police station.
Earlier in the day, the Chandigarh police summoned Vikas Barala to join the investigation.
Tejinder Luthra, Chandigarh DGP, said everything under the sun and effort will be done to ensure justice.
The DGP said,”Vikas Barala refused to accept the notice, therefore, we have pasted the notice on the wall of his residence.”

On the other hand, Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala said that Vikas will cooperate the police in the investigation and urged the opposition parties not to play politics in the matter.
