Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala’ son Vikas Barla, who was arrested in connection with high-profile stalking case of a girl in Chandigarh, was released from jail on Friday.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court had granted Vikas Barla bail on Thursday.

Vikas Barla, 23, and his friend Ashish were arrested arrested for allegedly harassing daughter of an IAS officer in August.

The Chandigarh Police had arrested the duo under non-bailable sections. Vikas, an LLB student, and his friend Ashish were booked under section 354 D (stalking) of IPC and 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act (driving by a drunken person or by a person under the influence of drugs).
