An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 hit Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region on Wednesday, said EMSC (European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre).
The tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR, Kashmir and all over North India at around 12:40 pm. At least one person died and several others got injured in Balichistan's Lasbela region of Pakistan, reported Pak Media.
The quake, which was also felt in neighbouring Pakistan, struck 270 km (167 miles) northeast of Kabul in the Hindu Kush mountains, at a deep 180 km, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
