In yet another atypical incident, a 34-year-old Chinese national has been arrested on Saturday for flying drone over Eastern Command of Indian Army in Kolkata, West Bengal. The person, identified as Li Zhiwei, was first spotted by the Central Industrial Security Force and was later handed over to the Kolkata Police. Zhiwei has been sent to Police custody till 25 March.
"Kolkata: 34-yr-old Chinese national Li Zhiwei arrested y'day for flying drone over Eastern Command of Indian Army. Central Industrial Security Force spotted him flying drone, apprehended him and handed him over to Police. He has been sent to Police custody till 25 March," the news agency ANI reported.

Earlier, sevral Pakistani unmanned aerial vehicle (UAVs) or drones were shot down near the International Border of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
In a related note, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has put all air defence systems on alert to deal with the intruders along the international border and Line of Control (LoC). Security in several states sharing the border with Pakistan has also been beefed up following the Indian Air Force (IAF)'s Balakot air strikes to avenge the death of 42 CRPF personnel in February 14 Pulwama terror attack.
