The total cash and gold intercepted by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at 10 different airports across India amounts to staggering Rs 60 crore in old currency notes and 245 kg in gold.
The cash and gold seizures were made by a special surveillance, initiated by CISF and the intelligence units of the Income Tax department, at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Guwahati , Chennai, Patna, Ahemdabad, Nagpur, Dimapur and Pune airports from November 10 till December 8.

Delhi Airport (Nov 10- Dec 6): Cash: Rs 6.23 cr; Gold: 19.409 kg
Mumbai Airport (Nov 15- Dec 8): Cash: Rs 18.32 cr; Gold: 90.40 kg
Kolkata Airport (Nov 15- Dec 8): Cash: Rs 5.65 cr; Gold: 25.463 kg
Chennai Airport (Dec 8- Dec 9): Cash: Rs 6.05 cr; Gold: 109 kg
Guwahati Airport (Nov 15- Dec 8): Cash: Rs 69.1445 lakh
Patna Airport (Nov 19- Dec 1): Cash: Rs 1.33 cr
Ahmedabad Airport (Nov 19- Dec 4): Cash: Rs 3.14; Gold: 800 gm
Nagpur Airport (Nov 24- Dec 2): Cash: Rs 11 cr
Dimapur Airport : Cash: Rs 3.5 cr
Pune Airport (Dec 7- Dec 11): Cash: Rs 4.2 cr; Gold: 11kg
