Clerics solemnise Muslim couple’s wedding via video conferencing

The clerics solemnised the marriage of a Muslim girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district with Saudi Arabia’s boy via video conferencing.

The marriage was scheduled for May 5 in Shamli but the bridegroom couldn’t make it to the venue on time, the bride’s father Rehan said.

“So we took the help of technology to solemnise the marriage yesterday,” he said. The family members of the couple were present on the occasion.
