Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday met BJP national president Amit Shah in the national capital.

After meeting Shah, Khattar said he briefed in detail to BJP president on Haryana violence that erupted after Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Singh’s verdict in the state last week. He said he has done a satisfactory job and complied court’s order.

When asked about opposition’s demand for his resignation, Khattar said he has done well to control the situation. “Those who are demanding, let them do,” he said.

The Haryana CM said that he had controlled the situation with patience and peace had been restored in the state.

“What I had planned, executed well on the ground, “he said. Reacting to Dera people's claim that BJP came to power with their support, Khattar said that they appeal all groups for their support and welcome it, but it does not mean anyone can break law.
