To forward the party's ideology and stand on various issues, the Indian National Congress will appoint 'preraks' or motivators, according to news agency ANI sources. The preraks will inspire and inform people about the developments in the party and they will bust any myth surrounding Congress.
According to the reports, three preraks will be appointed at a divisional level. Out of three, one will be woman, another from SC/ST/Minority/OBC background. The reports further added that the idea of appointing motivators emerged during a workshop the Congress organised in the national capital.

“They must have a deep belief and commitment to the idea of training and must be willing to give time and energy to the process. They should have the capacity to win trust and respect from everyone and be free from groupism and respectful to the workers,” said the note, obtained by the Hindustan Times.
All India Congress Committee (AICC) has asked state units to identify the preraks and submit a list by September-end.
In 2019 general elections, Congress suffered a crushing defeat and managed to win just 52 of 542 seats.
