Congress says World Bank's latest ease of doing business ranking won’t change ground reality

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Tuesday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, saying India's ranking in the World Bank's latest 'ease of doing business' would not change the ground reality.

Surjewala tweeted,” 'Ease of Doing Business' has become 'Cease of Doing Business'.” He said the reports showcased by the Union finance minister Arun Jaitley will not change the ground reality.

"Reports showcased by spin doctor FM Jaitley ji will not change reality on ground," he said.

In another tweet, Surjewala taunted PM’s tweet on World bank’s tweet, saying,” 'Misinform', 'Non-Perform' and 'Multiple GST Forms' are the guiding mantras of your Govt. Forget "Ease", where is the "Business", Modi ji?”
