'Mind Your Business': P Chidambaram Slams Army Chief For Remark on Anti-CAA Protest

Lucknow: Congress General Secretary for UP (East) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra travelled on a two-wheeler after she was stopped by police while she was on her way to meet family members of Former IPS officer SR Darapuri.

Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra accused Uttar Pradesh Police of 'manhandling' her while it tried to stop her from meeting families of those arrested during protests against Citizenship Amendment Act.

When asked about how does the Congress see the detention camps as different from those Congress directed to set up, Chidambaram says,"Detention camps were set under the Foreigners Act not in the context of Citizenship Amendment Act or NRC."

The Delhi Congress led by its president Subhash Chopra on Saturday took out a peace march from the party office on DDU Marg to mark the 135th foundation day of the party. The Congress leaders and workers first marched to Ambedkar Stadium where they garlanded a portrait of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar and then moved forward to the Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi's memorial.
