Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi: 'Defeat in 2014 Lok Sabha polls realised us our mistakes'

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that his party’s defeat in 2014 Lok Sabha polls has helped him “a lot” in realising the mistakes which party had committed.

During his campaign tour in Vadodra, Rahul asserted that the saffron party defeated them so badly that gave them the sense not to repeat those mistakes.

Rahul said: “BJP has helped me. They have really helped me. We lost 2014 but the defeat could not have helped us more.”

Rahul on the second day of his campaign tour which started from Vadodara and ended in Chota Udepur in Central Gujarat, addressed around eight small and big public gatherings.

He also showcased his dancing skills by shaking a leg with tribals in Bodeli.
