With the number of coronavirus cases hitting triple-digit figures in India, the Narendra Modi government has decided to introduce new regulation for monitoring the COVID-19 suspects. According to a report by the Times of India, the Centre has now made two negative tests mandatory for all those quarantined or isolated under suspicion of coronavirus. This means that any person, who has been hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment/suspicion will be discharged only after she/he is tested negative in 24 hours.
This regulation will help the authorities to ensure those getting discharged from hospitals or are being allowed to step out of quarantine have zero risks of spreading the virus. So far, India has reported 110 cases of coronavirus. Maximum cases have been reported from Maharashtra. Mumbai has imposed Section 144 of the CrPC to enforce a strict ban on public gatherings. As many as 13 states across India have reported active cases of coronavirus. Additionally, 3 more individuals have been cured of the COVID-19 disease.
Rajasthan doctors' line of treatment is being monitored by officials to see whether it can be adopted elsewhere to treat coronavirus cases. On Monday, 53 Indians were successfully evacuated from iran. The Air India plane landed in Jaisalmer on Monday morning. All flyers have been quarantined at the army facility in the town. Rajasthan officials say that situation is under control.
