New Delhi:

India on Tuesday entered the seventh day of the 21-day coronavirus lockdown. While the nationwide tally of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in India crossed over 1300, the death count has touched 38. In the meantime, the government clarified saying that there was no plan to extend the 21-day lockdown which came into force on Tuesday (March 23, 2020) midnight. The central government ordered sealing of all state and district borders to check community transmission of the virus by migrant workers and asked those having left already to be quarantined for 14 days. It is worth mentioning here that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide has crossed 6.5 lakh with over 34,000 fatalities so far.

Chhattisgarh: A 35-yr-old man from Tagapani, Dhamtari, who was put under isolation home by the health dept after his return from Tamil Nadu, commits suicide. He had no symptoms relating to Coronavirus. Police says, "Reason for suicide unknown. A year ago, he lost his wife & son."

Noida district admn has sealed Ceasefire Company, in Sector 135, after 16 people associated with it were found coronavirus positive. Dept of Health has registered an FIR against against the admn of the company. The admn had called an auditor from abroad, in March, for auditing.

Delhi: Medical team and Police are present at the Markaz building, Nizamuddin where around 2500 people had attended a function earlier this month. Around 860 people have been shifted from the building to hospitals so far, around 300 are yet to be shifted.

Assam: 13 Kashmiris who are stuck in Guwahati due coronavirus lockdown were given food materials by Police. Shaukat says, "we were in Guwahati for an expo which ended on March 21. We have been given ration by Assam Police as we are stuck. I am thankful to Police for helping us."

Delhi:People who had boarded buses from the Nizammudin area reach Lok Nayak Hospital for a checkup. A religious gathering was held at Markaz in Nizamuddin,that violated lockdown conditions and several COVID19 positive cases have been found among those who attended the gathering.
