India on Tuesday entered the seventh day of the 21-day coronavirus lockdown. While the nationwide tally of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in India crossed over 1300, the death count has touched 38. In the meantime, the government clarified saying that there was no plan to extend the 21-day lockdown which came into force on Tuesday (March 23, 2020) midnight. The central government ordered sealing of all state and district borders to check community transmission of the virus by migrant workers and asked those having left already to be quarantined for 14 days. It is worth mentioning here that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide has crossed 6.5 lakh with over 34,000 fatalities so far.

Noida district admn has sealed Ceasefire Company, in Sector 135, after 16 people associated with it were found coronavirus positive. Dept of Health has registered an FIR against against the admn of the company. The admn had called an auditor from abroad, in March, for auditing.

Odisha: 12 migrant workers from Pipalguda in Kalahandi who had returned from Kerala have self-quarantined themselves outside the village. After returning they went to hospital for COVID-19 test & they tested negative. But they decided to stay outside as a precautionary measure.
