A journalist who attended Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s press conference on March 20 has tested positive for the coronavirus, reported India Today on Wednesday. Earlier, the journalist’s daughter has also tested positive for the COVID-19. Immediately after this came into the light, other journalists and the officials present into the press conference have been under self-isolation. Whereas, former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath has also gone under self-isolation for few days.
Meanwhile, Shia Waqf Board Chief Waseem Rizvi has been admitted to a private hospital after he complained of severe breathing trouble. Immediately after being admitted, the blood samples of Waseem Rizvi were being tested for any signs of the novel coronavirus.
This comes a day after PM Modi announced a complete lockdown across the country amid increasing cases of coronavirus. All integrated check posts (ICPs) at all airports, seaports, land ports, rail ports, and river ports are closed down. Two states - Punjab and Maharashtra - and a UT - Puducherry - have already declared curfew in their respective areas. Whereas, in Delhi, section 144 has been imposed.
It is to be noted that more than 550 cases for coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, have been reported so far in India. Whereas, the death count due to coronavirus has reached to 11. With the death count crossing 16,000-mark, the novel coronavirus outbreak, also known as COVID-19, has created havoc across the world.

On Tuesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a press conference and said that an economic package will be announced to soon that will tackle the crisis.
