Coronavirus Outbreak Live Updates: The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in India jumped to 3,072 as India reported its single-largest daily spike with 525 new cases on Saturday. These cases include 2,784 active cases while 213 have been cured, discharged or migrated people. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 75 people have died in India due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. Many of the new coronavirus positive patients are linked with the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi's Nizamuddin area. The government has asked people not to panic saying there is no community spread of the virus.

A total of 60,457 deaths have been recorded, including 44,132 in Europe, the continent worst hit by the virus. The official tallies probably reflect only a fraction of the actual number of cases.
