CPI-Maoist central committee decides to involve women in all fronts

The Central Committee of the banned left wing extremist outfit CPI-Maoist, observing its 17th anniversary,  has directed its regional committee members to indoctrinate women cadres in large numbers across the country.

The banned outfit has pasted posters and banners inviting women living in far off villages in Maoist dominated states to join the outfit.

In one of the posters, the CPI-Maoist has stated, “Raise protest against patriarchy system. Increase women’s involvement in all fronts.”

According to sources in the intelligence department, the move is being taken by the banned outfit as they have lost large number of male cadres and leaders in encounters.

“Maoist male cadres and leaders in large numbers have  been killed in encounters, arrested or surrendered. Several senior leaders of the outfit are above 50 years and they are finding difficulty in indoctrinating new cadres,” said a senior CRPF officer.

The Maoist are observing PLGA week between December 2 and 8.

The security forces in the last 48 hours have gunned down at least eight Maoist cadres including five women cadres and have arrested five including three women cadres across the country.
