Cross-border firing occurs along LoC in Poonch, J&K

Cross-border firing was witnessed on Thursday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. There was cross-border firing from 1330 to 1340 hours along the Line of Control in the Poonch sector, a district police officer said.

According to reports, one jawan has been injured in the firing. However, the army has not yet issued a statement on the cross-border firing. A senior officer at the Northern Command said that they were checking the details.
