In a controversial statement, a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader has said that he will give away Rs 5 lakh as prize money for cutting off the tongue of of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar.

BJYM district president, Budaun district, Uttar Pradesh, Kuldeep Varshney made the controversial announcement.

Kanhaiya, who was arrested on sedition charge on February 12, was released from Tihar jail on March 3 after getting an interim bail for six months.

Varshney has alleged that Kanhaiya shouted anti-national slogans and is now targeting everyone.

“Kanhaiya has insulted our parent organisation RSS and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech at JNU campus and provoked others to raise slogans against ‘Bharat Mata’. His tongue should be chopped off. Anyone who would opt for it, I would give him Rupees 5 lakh,” said Varshney.
