In a rare sight at a Delhi underpass, which was submerged in water following heavy rains, bullock carts were seen carrying motorbikes from one side to another. In Delhi's Badarpur area, bullock cart owners charged Rs 50 to carry bikes through the underpass on Wednesday.
Commuters were stranded in waterlogged underpass which leads to Mehrauli. Few hours of rains have exposed the broken roads of the city. The roads and underpasses in various areas of the national capital have turned into deep water lakes.
From cars to motorbikes to autowallas, no vehicle can pass through these roads. Both sides of road are jam-packed. DTC buses were seen drowning on the water logged roads, while poor rickshaw-pullers were forced to pull rickshaw despite water level rising till neck.
