New Delhi:

A fire broke out at a house in Delhi’s Munirka, which left six members of a family injured, a fire department official said on Friday.

The cause of the fire was leakage in LPG cylinder and a call related to it was received by the Delhi Fire Service around 12.40 pm, the official added.

The fire was put under control within half an hour by two fire tenders. Six members of a family including Raj Kumar, Vimla, Angoothi, Laxman, Ilyas and Kalu got injuries in the incident.

While Vimla sustained 70 per cent burns, other members of the family got 20 to 30 per cent burns, he said.

Earlier, in another incident, a car caught fire in southeast Delhi’s Nizamuddin on Friday itself. No injuries were reported, the police said.
